What is Positivitea?
We all go through difficult times, and sometimes sharing your concerns with a trusted person can make you feel less alone. Working in tandem with 7Cups, participants complete an Active Listening experience to gain advanced skills in compassionate communication before connecting with members across the globe to chat anonymously in a one-on-one chat.
Listeners meet people from all walks of life who have diverse experiences. Listeners give space to people to clear their heads. To understand.

Raise awareness around the importance of empathy, active listening, and communication to support mental health while helping others!
A completely virtual event, we will start with an educational presentation before diving into active listening training. WeHero and 7Cups provide all the training materials to ensure that participants are supported throughout the event.
The goal of the event is to complete the listener training and commit to 60 minutes of online volunteering to support others in need.
As a 7Cups listener, participants will be able to continue volunteering post-event for extended impact that will aid people all across the globe.
