Get ready to deliver baby bundles to mothers!

Thank you: The Packs of Love Project is a WeHero Volunteer Event delivering baby bundles to mothers enrolled in Early Head Start. These kits are designed to support both the mother and baby with the essential supplies needed. You’ll be adding your own touch and message to each kit you create, drawing fun pictures on the bags, and leaving letters of encouragement.

Step 1: Add all the items to each bag
You will be making two packs for this event—the inventory below lists the quantity of each item that goes into the provided bags. Please leave the markers out of the bag. They're yours to keep!
Note: If you feel an item is missing, please leave a note inside the box for the staff. If you have any extra or alternative versions of some items, please keep them in the box for the return shipment.

Step 2: Letter writing
Use the blank card provided to write letters to your recipients. People who receive these packs love reading words of encouragement, jokes, and stories. They are also curious about the people performing these acts of kindness. Put one completed letter inside each bag.Note: This letter is the most important part of your gift. Please take the time to leave sincere thoughts.

Step 3: Re-box and apply the shipping label
Using the original box everything came in, add the completed packs, and reseal the box. Attach the prepaid shipping label and schedule your USPS pickup. You can also drop your box off at your local post office. To schedule your pickup, simply use the following link and follow the steps: www.wehero.co/pick-up/
Note: If the system asks for weight, you can enter 6 pounds and the shipping provider will update the weight automatically.
Step 4: Photo time
Take a photo of yourself with your completed packs and share the experience with your friends and family. Use the opportunity to spread awareness and share this act of kindness. Be sure to tag WeHero when you post on social media!

We build our volunteer events to be as environmentally friendly as possible. Whether it is offsetting the carbon emissions of the shipping process, using recycled cardboard for the boxes, or relying on algae based dyes, we’ve made conscious steps to ensure we’re doing right for our world.
