What is Knot Alone?
When you picture your young children, you picture them strong, energetic, happy and healthy. You picture them running outside, falling and scraping their knee, then getting up and continuing to chase after their friends. The last place you picture them is in a hospital bed.
Even so, a child’s hospital stay is something that parents have to deal with every year, and we want to make sure children feel safe, loved and cared for during their stay.
Together, we’ll provide children facing hospital treatments with a colorful, comfortable fleece blanket and a video message of support from its maker, but we need YOUR help to accomplish this!
We provide the expertise, materials, and tools
to make blankets. Every blanket we provide also has a personal video message attached to it from the blanket maker to the recipient in the hospital. The recipient can then send a "thank-you" message back to the maker.
